Your Realtor, Anne Catherine Bowcutt,
was born in Walnut Creek and has lived in Dublin, Lafayette, Oakland, Vallejo and San Francisco, California as well as Grenoble, France (past winter Olympic site) and on Mt. Vernon Boulevard in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. Manhattan was her home away from home for many years but she, her dog, Keiko & cats now nest in an historic home noted on the National Registrar and near the water in the twice former capital of California, Vallejo. This past fall, she turned one of her properties in the sleepy Delta community of Rio Vista, into a two-unit investment property. Other real estate holdings are 10 acres in Joshua Tree, CA and 2½ acres in Arizona.
Anne Catherine was educated in Montclair until moving to France at 17 where she received a Baccalaureate in French Literature. She then returned to the Bay Area to attend the University of California at Berkeley where she received a B.A. in Economics with Departmental Honors in 1992. Favorite subjects? Art, Spanish, Law and Morality, taught by Judge Noonan of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, Transaction Theory from Oliver Williamson, Professor of Law and Economics at Haas School of Business and International Trade from Dr. Laura D’Andrea Tyson, Former National Economic Advisor to President Clinton.
Add up her education, an architect and successful business owners as parents, her 25 years experience in fashion, advertising and sales management, and real estate was a natural career evolution. Receiving her license in 2003 she hasn’t looked back, closing on three homes her first month and a top listing agent for the top ranked realty company by East Bay Business Times!
